Jacinta orked for URS for 7 years within Engineering Services Unit. Provided service in landfill and waste management where she provided project and construction management and design services (in some cases as the Lead Design Engineer) on new and existing waste facilities.She's acted as General Manager for the unit for the last 18 months to over 75 civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical, hydrological and geohydrological engineers. She allocates tasks, co-ordinates decisions on projects and facilitates strategic decision making. She worked to help develop a business plan and to recruit and develop the unit into a profitable business. Jacinta is a key driver in the Project Management Practice Area, encouraging all professional staff within URS to obtain Certified Project Management Accreditation.
