With water levels in Sydney’s dams at record lows, it was necessary for the Sydney Catchment Authority to access the “deep water” located below the level of existing infrastructure serving Warragamba Dam for supply to Prospect WFP, and Nepean Dam for supply to Avon Dam. Completion of this fast tracked design-build project resulted in the creation of reliable and low maintenance assets developed in consultation with SCA operators.
