This simple yet effective desktop tool enables Victorian Government schools to identify and implement energy saving initiatives. Connell Wagner was commissioned to design an “Energy Reduction Opportunities Evaluation Tool” to be used by all 1,600 Victorian Government schools. The requirements were for an online tool that would identify and implement energy saving initiatives that are cost effective and beneficial to the environment. TREES not only educates students on the environmental impacts of energy use, but also enables the DET to meet the Victorian Government’s commitment to reducing the annual energy consumption of government buildings by 15 per cent.
