The purpose of this project was to further investigate and develop the socially acceptable improvement of four Melbourne Water main drain outlets discharging to Port Phillip Bay which had previously been identified as requiring major improvement works to address health and safety concerns. An important aspect of this project was to engage stakeholders external to Melbourne Water in the decision making process.
