This 4-storey building covering 3,950m² was part of ECU's strategic plan to provide a new functional library while still creating a 'people hub' on its Joondalup Campus. The reinforced concrete superstructure incorporated extensive glazed facades requiring complex, highly visible external shade structures, forming an integral part of the architectural vision.
