The project assessed and developed new water supply sources for the islands of Mangaia, Penrhyn, Manihiki, Rakahanga, Puka Puka, Mauke, Mitiaro and Atiu in the Cook Islands. GHD assessed the management of water resources, provided training to communities and local governments on groundwater assessment, and provided the Cook Islands Government with recommendations on how to improve the sustainability of scare and vulnerable water resources.
