CW-DC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Connell Wagner Pty Ltd, and McConnell Dowell Constructors were commissioned by the Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI) to design and construct an underpass to replace the 80 year old, dilapidated Bakewell Bridge, at the western edge of Adelaide’s CBD. The commission was the first Early Contractor Involvement (ECI procurement method used in South Australia.
