Australian Water Resources 2005 is a nationwide assessment of the water management status of Australia. It established the starting point to measure improvements in water management under the National Water Initiative. Australian Water Resources 2005 provided detailed nationwide data, analysis and discussion on water availability; water use; and river and wetland health; plus established a new national framework for conducting future water resource assessments and reports.
