The need to augment water supplies during severe drought necessitated the design and construction of five water treatment plants in southern Brisbane. All plants were completed 6 weeks ahead of the schedule agreed with State government. A pro-active approach to environmental management guaranteed achieving all approvals and full regulatory compliance during construction.
