The key objective of the project was to re-establish coastal wetland ecosystems and to sustainably protect their aquatic productivity and coastal protection functions. Included forestry, environmental, infrastructure, training, ethnic minority, social development and policy activities to establish and sustain a protected zone along 470km of coastline.
