Winner Small Firm Award
Building Services Engineers is a boutique building engineering consultancy, specialising in mechanical and electrical services, lifts and fire services. We take a special interest in innovative projects, which achieve substantial reductions in energy use, and cost, savings, and, at the same time, significant returns on investment. The IKEA Logan store achieves savings of 30% in energy costs and consumption compared with a conventional, well designed and well run store, as a result of innovative design.
We are currently working on another project, with the aim of achieving a further saving of 30%, compared with the Logan store. This will reduce energy costs, and consumption, at the new store, to half of that of a conventional store. Awards such as the ACEA award provide our staff with recognition of their achievements, and provide a clear incentive for us to do even better!
