101 Miller Street - Lobby The upgrade of the foyer at 101 Miller Street involved redirecting all the fire escapes into a suspended structural steel fire escape system and the introduction of a glass facade supported on vertical cables. Since the building was existing, the new loads had to be introduced into a new steel beam system under the ground floor and above the ceiling. The awning was also replaced. Sydney University - Law School FJMT Architects won an international design competition with TTW as structural and civil engineer. The building consists of a four story basement housing a library, lecture theatre, moot court and carpark. Above the podium are the academic offices.
