Defire undertook the performance based fire engineering for this 9-storey mixed-use development comprising carpark, office, retail, serviced apartment and place of public entertainment. Defire developed a holistic fire safety strategy for the building including fire resistance, evacuation provisions, services and equipment and fire safety management and training. These measures were supported by quantitative risk analysis.

Gateway House is a multi level business premises incorporating basement and on site car parking, designed to achieve 4.5* ABGR rating, built on a challenging Greenfield site, accommodating a national call centre plus smaller tenancies. The project was won by tender to design, construct and lease in conjunction with the client. and extended over 3 years. The project was delivered ahead of time and under budget due to intensive project management and a high level of co-operation by all involved, and has delivered a benchmark call centre to Centrelink with exceptional results to the client.
